Leaving Silicon for Seattle

Posted Tuesday August 28, 2007, 11:53 am, Over one day old
The prospect of moving to the Seattle Area has been floating for a few months 1. I’ll be leaving behind two great experiences with two great companies, awesome friends in people like Scott, Jina, Dustin, Chris, James and the atmosphere that has made living in the Bay Area so awesome.

Final Fantasy San Francisco

Posted Tuesday August 28, 2007, 11:53 am, Over one day old
7:27 PM A guy just came by and said that a lot of people from the end of the line left. But no, you give us a picture, old FMV footage and 6 PSP demo stations after waiting in the windy city of the west for well over two hours (even more than that for the people who got there first).

Revyver Grows by One

Posted Tuesday August 28, 2007, 11:53 am, Over one day old
A lot of rearranging, a little designing here and there, an event or two, and quite a bit of programming. While in the past she’s been a source of comfort and inspiration, more recently she’s helped me with brainstorming, critique and many parts of the design process itself.

My Addiction to Rearranging

Posted Tuesday August 28, 2007, 11:53 am, Over one day old
So, I grabbed the nearest surge protector and proceeded to trek under the desk to connect said drive. Once I got down there, I immediately thought of another way to rearrange the cords so that Jen would use one surge protector and I would use the other.

Feeling Like a Developer

Posted Tuesday August 28, 2007, 11:53 am, Over one day old
Taking a quick trip down memory lane once again, I only knew enough PHP to get me by when hacking my way through a WordPress theme. I have this personality when it comes to work that I like to manage all aspects of a project, that’s my business side.

The Subject of Relevance

Posted Tuesday August 28, 2007, 11:53 am, Over one day old
I could assume that most bloggers are like myself and fail to look back at old posts to either edit them or link them to more recent posts which are probably more relevant and more aligned with the author’s current state of mind.

A Love-Money Relationship

Posted Tuesday August 28, 2007, 11:53 am, Over one day old
I remember when I first laid my eyes on WordPress, I disliked it, because I never quite got the concept of designing around piece of software rather than having the software plugged into a design. So after, high school, college and two jobs, it was finally my chance.

The (CSS) Reboot's Lost Identity

Posted Tuesday August 28, 2007, 11:53 am, Over one day old
When May 2006 rolled around the CSSReboot was back once again. And when May 1st comes around again, if you plan on reinvigorating your identity, join the official reboot (if you can deal with the Flash) and be a part of that cause that James, Anders and now Paul strived to create and uphold.

My Reasons for Django

Posted Tuesday August 28, 2007, 11:53 am, Over one day old
Sure you could embed videos or different enclosures to vary the uses you’d get out of that model, but when it came to giving each type of post a different design, it didn’t seem very possible with a more structured system (do correct me if there is one that can do this effectively).

Did I Say Crippled?

Posted Tuesday August 28, 2007, 11:53 am, Over one day old
I need a new brain, I’ve obviously burnt my current one out. It’s very forced, and I don’t know if you can feel it or not stepping around here—but that header is definitely forced. As much as I wanted to wait and take my time, my mind wouldn’t have it.
