What can I say - we like color. If you've got high ceilings, invest in a long handle for your roller. Make sure you save some paint for touch-ups, and mark your cans with the name of the room. Otherwise, you'll spend way too long pulling out cans in the basement searching for the right match.

To find out the true extent of our roof problems (namely, how much of the original decking had been ruined by these leaks) we had to climb up into the crawl-space above the second floor. You can see the ceiling and arched windows, plus about 100 years worth of cobwebs.
