Lets chat about P2P some more

Posted Wednesday November 21, 2007, 12:24 am, Over one day old
If they spent that money and time promoting why people should go to the movies and the value of owning music, those industries would benefit far more than anything they lose to piracy. I actually think Google Video is a far better solution for audio and video distribution than any P2P solution.

An Open Letter to Comcast and Every cable/Telco on P2P - updated

Posted Wednesday November 21, 2007, 12:24 am, Over one day old
If I was a Comcast customer, I would tell them, as I am now telling all the services I am a customer of: BLOCK P2P TRAFFIC, PLEASE As a consumer, I want my internet experience to be as fast as possible. The last thing I want slowing my internet service down are P2P freeloaders.

The Sport of Business

Posted Friday January 4, 2008, 12:24 am, Over one day old
Put me up against 20 year olds, and I won't embarrass myself but it's only because I know how to set a pick and hit an open, a very wide open jumper, and spend the rest of the game getting out of the way. Every day someone talks about some business they want to start.

Bloggers in the Mavs Locker Room ?

Posted Tuesday March 11, 2008, 1:29 am, Over one day old
There also are no standards that I have been able to come up with that differentiate between bloggers to the point where I should or should not credential one versus the other. As far singling out mr MacMahon, I havent read what he has written, so that is not the case. its an issue of fairness.

All Publicity Isn't As Good As It Used To Be.

Posted Wednesday September 19, 2007, 12:21 am, Over one day old
"All publicity is good publicity" It may have been true at some point, but it certainly is not true today. Nor will it be true forever more. In essence, the internet has put us all under a form of digital arrest. The one thing the internet lacks that will forever change us all is Context.

Its Mambo Time for Mark & Kym - 1 800 VOTE 411

Posted Sunday September 30, 2007, 12:21 am, Over one day old
Being 6' 3", i have to keep my knees bent pretty much the entire dance so that i don't like I'm stiff or tower above Kym. It took until yesterday afternoon for her to get back to her usual perpetual energy self, so Tiff brought her to practice so she could dance with Kym and I. She loved it.

Is it Time for Youtube to Reform ?

Posted Friday October 26, 2007, 10:02 pm, Over one day old
Youtube has a huge problem and they have dug a hole so deep they are never going to be able to fix it unless they change their approach to copyright. There is no reason to discuss further whether or not Youtube or Google Video is elgible for protection from the DMCA.

My Last Fist Fight

Posted Thursday August 16, 2007, 12:26 am, Over one day old
Just off to the side where I guess the Mall part started, there was one of those old recording booths. My buddy Ron saw it coming before I did and was up and pushed him back off balance just enough for me to stand and start throwing those wild bar fight type punches.

An Open Facebook API vs Google OpenSocial

Posted Sunday November 4, 2007, 1:23 am, Over one day old
When you go to my Facebook profile, you get the real me. Despite the thousands of ideas I have about how the most comprehensive database of self maintained user information could be used, I just didnt have the piss and vinegar in me to attack this problem with the amount of energy it would take.
