DocShield monitors and backs up changed files, restore previous copies

DocShield will scan a folder for changed files at regular intervals and save copies to an archive. You can open old copies of your document or save them as new files. DocShield is a free Windows application. In many ways, DocShield works just like FileHamster, a similar app we covered last year.

4 "SpeedDial" Options for Firefox

For thumbnailed pages, SpeedDial and FastDial (pictured) are both nice options. Right click a tab, send it to your dial page. I prefer SpeedDial for its support of hotkeys: ctrl+# opens the page in SpeedDial tab, ctrl+shift+# opens it in a new one.
