Posted Saturday July 5, 2008, 12:55 pm, Over one day old
O.K., not Heathrow hectic, but depart there at the wrong time and it's not fun. In conjunction with Dutch carrier KLM, this trial, launched yesterday, gives passengers who have checked-in using a self-service kiosk or online to drop off their bags at a machine, Reuters reports.

I Survived a Japanese Game Show: Round two and its getting nasty

Posted Thursday July 3, 2008, 2:48 am, Over one day old
Justin, always ready to try anything, said, "I'll hang" and scored ten bears--not easily at first, but he let the team members control away as they saw fit and did his part to pick up the large pink bears and dump them into the chute.

EU puts ban on misleading airline advertising

Posted Thursday July 10, 2008, 5:14 am, Over one day old
Yes, the advertised fare may be low, but once you throw in all those fees and taxes the full price of your ticket can soon jump to triple digits. The bold figures that you see advertised by airlines will be the exact price you can expect to pay; no pesky hidden fees.

The Slowest Train in The World

Posted Saturday July 5, 2008, 12:55 pm, Over one day old
Most of the few seats still attached to the floor are piled high with exotic fruits: durians, pineapples, and several others that I've eaten before but can't name. Gallery: The Slowest Train in the World Cambodia has only one passenger train that still runs, and I'm on it right now.

Heathrow: Still Europe's worst

Posted Wednesday July 2, 2008, 2:04 am, Over one day old
Filed under: Europe, United Kingdom, Airports I wonder whether they should just tear down Heathrow and build a new airport from scratch. Heathrow consistently gets the worst ratings among airports.

Belize it or not: The shark petting zoo

Posted Friday July 11, 2008, 1:55 am, Over one day old
As you probably know, the Belize Barrier Reef (stretching from Yucatan all the way to the coast of Guatemala) is the second largest reef in the world, after the Great Barrier Reef. I don't know how I feel about the whole "petting the shark and sting ray" aspect of the whole thing.
