Toyota to Build Second Plant in Brazil

Toyota is acquiring a 3.7-million m 2 plot in the city of Sorocaba, in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo, as the site for a new plant. Toyota says that it is considering a new compact vehicle plant on the site in 2011 or after. The location is near its Indiatuba factory that builds the Corolla.
