The Lebanese Option Gathering (LOG) issued a statement on Wednesday denouncing what it said were the opposition's attempts to block the cabinet formation process. It added that the Doha agreement proved to the opposition that "terror and strength were the best way for their demands to be fulfilled."

The Union for Lebanon, headed by Massoud al-Ashkar, stressed the importance for the Lebanese president to remain unbiased as stipulated by the Taif Accord, according to a statement released after the association's weekly meeting on Wednesday.
