The nuns, who voted for years without incident went to their assigned polling precinct in South Bend, Indiana were denied because one the nation’s toughest law, which the Supreme Court upheld by a 6-3 vote, requiring every voter to produce a state-issued photo ID card.

Local London elections caused quite a stir last week as Conservative Boris Johnson ousted left-wing Labour incumbent Ken Livingstone for Mayor of London. Conservatives won eight ward seats to Labour?s six and also performed better proportionally.

National Popular Vote winning from sea to shining sea
