Another Interesting Offer

Posted Thursday January 4, 2007, 1:48 pm, Over one day old
We've bounced the idea around some since then, and I'm both flattered and interested. It would also mean a change in the site feed, though I'm pretty sure I can redirect the Feedburner feed to any other one -- those of you subscribed through Feedburner wouldn't have to change a thing.

Introducing Green Options

Posted Tuesday January 2, 2007, 1:48 pm, Over one day old
Our new company is called Green Options, and our focus is just that: showing users (and getting users to show) the options they have for living a greener, more sustainable life. I've been at it for two months now, and David (the CEO) and Shea for several more.

State Legislatures Gearing Up for Renewables Push

Posted Monday January 1, 2007, 1:48 pm, Over one day old
While Ritter doesn't have a firm figure in mind like Culver, he does have definite goals, including: Let me know what other states have got sustainability measures on the front burner -- this may well be the issue at the state level (and maybe the federal) in this new year.

Thank You for a Great Year!

Posted Sunday December 31, 2006, 1:48 pm, Over one day old
I did some digging around for news and developments, and they're certainly out there, but I think a much better use of tonight's post, the last of 2006, is to say "Thank you!" to all of you, new readers and old, that have been with me throughout the year.

Wal-Mart Exploring Installation of Solar Panels on Some Stores

Posted Wednesday December 27, 2006, 1:48 pm, Over one day old
I've often noted that I'm impressed by Wal-Mart's recent eco-friendly moves because of the specified goals and timetables attached to them. Wal-Mart doesn't mention a specific purchase size, but my sources tell me that the company could put solar on as many as 340 stores in the next few years.

Merry Christmas, and a meme...

Posted Sunday December 24, 2006, 1:48 pm, Over one day old
I'm really terrible about playing my part in keeping a meme going, or playing "tag," but Ivan Storck, aka Ivan Enviroman, tagged me just over a week ago... so, here are five things that you may not know about me:
