Amazon.com: Do your homework and quit shitting me

While season two had barely finished airing in Germany I purchased season 3 on Amazon.com, the Regional Code 1 edition. Granted, the Windows thing is to be expected, but the US credit card? I would have loved the download, no DVD taking up any rack space, but it is not supposed to happen.
