Falwell's shot across Rudy's bow

I take it Falwell would not therefore be willing to support Giuliani, then, if Giuliani were to get the nomination. Also, further wondering if Falwell's statement means that if the Democrats were ever to nominate a pro-life candidate, Falwell would work to support him or her?
