"Thanksgiving instead of hosting myself. This year, however, I?m able to create a full Thanksgiving dinner. I decided to do it a few days early in case any of you are still looking for some ideas for your own holiday meals. I was really inspired by Vegan Menu?s Seitan Roulade and decided to take my own stab at it. It seemed like the perfect centerpiece. My recipe is very different than his, but if you?re looking for another filling idea, definitely check out his post! "

"is coming to an end, I thought it was time to list some of tasty or bizarre varieties of mock meat we?ve encountered. I?ve been following the Mocking of Meat at Hezbollah Tofu and can?t wait till I get a chance to do some serious seitanising like this wicked-looking roulade. ´Ribs´, when done well, are delicious. " Reviews, On the Blogs, Vegetarian/Vegan, Easter Who ever said Easter feasts required big, slow-roasted birds? The creative folks behind What the hell does a vegan eat, anyway? featured a gorgeous seitan roulade for their holiday entree. Like good vegans, they made their own seitan, the old-fashioned way - no store-bought stuff for them! If you?re feeling ambitious (and have some time on your hands), the seitan recipe is "

"meatloaf looks nice but it?s different and it comes all the way from the South West of America. From the coconut & lime food blog. Now for the vegans - A roullade with braised leeks. From the Vegan Menu food blog. Lastly, another fine piece from Jay Rayner, food critic at The Guardian. He talks about nostalgia in relation to food. Read it here at The Guardian food blog. What are those recipes that take you back to your childhood?"
