Steve Wynn Purchases J.M.W. Turner's View of Venice For $35.8 Million

The New York Times reports that Law Vegas entrepeneur Stephen A. Wynn was the mystery bidder at the Christie's auction in which J.M.W. Turner's "Giudecca, La Donna Della Salute and San Giorgio" sold for $35.8 million. The price was more than twice its $15 million estimate.
