I still see the opportunity of blogging evolving somewhat some more before turning into that flow, but you can already start getting some early signs that you need to start moving on once your blog stops getting comments and people discuss your posts in those flowing social networking sites!

One technique that can easily make reading a site a lot more uncomfortable is using an elastic, or em-based, layout such as the one I use here (and talk about a bit more in detail in Fixed or fluid width?

The WCAG Samurai Errata are now available

It took nearly two years, but two days ago on 26 February 2008, version 1.0 of the WCAG Samurai Errata for WCAG 1.0 were finally published. At the same time, accessibility-aware web developers have learned and invented a lot of techniques for building accessible websites.

Design Accessible Web Sites (Book review)

It's good to see more books on Web accessibility being published. Maybe Design Accessible Web Sites will sit better with that crowd, since the author, Jeremy Sydik, presents the information in a gentler way, without getting overly hung up on checkpoints and accessibility guidelines.

Helping others understand web accessibility

When I hold workshops for people who want to learn more about web standards and accessibility, I often notice that the attendants really have tried to improve their accessibility knowledge. And it doesn't look like things will get much easier when WCAG 2.0 is released and becomes the norm.

All Aboard For User-centered Design

It's all about being user-centric. You could decide that you'll try to make sure the Haves do have a good user experience with the web page. In practice many web designers might be surprised at how large the group of Have-Nots for any given web page may be.
