MSN just published an article listing some of these small yet significant tips, of which I think these are the most important: Be comfortable: Wear loose, warm, long, comfortable clothes. Bring lip-balm: Even if you have never-cracking lips, on a long-haul flight darling, they will crack!

Toilet overheats and causes an emergency landing

She took off her shoes to see if heat was coming from the floor. In the case of one of yesterday's Virgin Atlantic flights, there was heat coming up through the floor. I wonder if there was heat coming through the toilet as well?

I find their fares to be the lowest available and they may show many fare options, not just the lowest. You may also want to use an airline-independent web site that does not sell tickets that just lists all the fares and rules for all flights such as ExpertFlyer.com.

Flight attendants, for the most part, are pleasers, which means they would never do anything that would put their job in jeopardy (like walking off a flight), so that hostile environment must have been pretty darn bad, much more hostile than you and I could ever imagine.
