Invite bloggers to participate in something and don't give them a chance to talk about themselves. This was what I opened the session with, followed by letting people around the group introduce their name and their blogs. Some bloggers consider themselves journalists and others don't.

"PR agencies are slow"

During the day, the topic of blogger relations came up several times and although most agreed it is not rocket science, there were many examples of bad pitches. Several PR agencies were present at Disruptive Media and I know there are a lot of smart PR people in Sweden who get social media.

CES as a reporter (okay, a blogger)

This is the year that CES has fully opened the door for bloggers to apply, and then worked with the Blog Business Summit people to "vet" the bloggers to make sure that they had not just started a blog a couple days prior to get a blogger pass.
