What people don't get - especially non-PR people - is that, oh, the majority of PR is done at the local level, where people don't care about blogs or RSS. And, don't get me started on what a targeted press release distribution could have done for the Bloghaus.

From The Blogging Times : So, the next question is, what's the next conference or trade show that bloggers need to be attending? And if you're a big company with a big stake at that conference, have you lined up your bloggers to sponsor to be there?

One of the hot topics coming out of CES this year is the role of the blogger as media. Blogger as journalist. BlogHaus was a hopping place. I've seen it called a cool place to hang out and the real press room. There are also detractors. Teresa puts down her thoughts on the BBS blog:
