It wasn't very long ago that I was telling you all about the exciting new tuk tuks that had burst onto the Brighton & Hove scene. The TucTucs have a bus operators licence and The Taxi Trade Forum is alleging that they are not sticking to the strict timetable that this licence requires.

The idea is simple - you can buy, sell and recycle your books all in one place. In addition, it seemed that no other website, including market leaders Amazon, had found an ethical way of recycling books and as well as offering much the same service as a bookshop.

For those who don?t know Nottingham the Eastcroft incinerator is situated near to the Notts County Football ground and shares Sneinton with many residents of the Nottingham city population, a large fruit and veg market and the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.

Apologies for the rather short notice on this one but I've just come across it in the wonderful Brighton ' Rocks Magazine ' (a great place to spot anything green and friendly!). Wednesday 19 July from 7-9.30pm sees an intriguing debate taking place on the links between art and ecology.

Perhaps I'm not the only one who will buy as much as possible from the small shops before contemplating getting anything from the supermarkets. But the less committed need to see that there is a way to shop more ethically without having to join a box scheme.
