Deleting a post that you regret, is not considered comme il faut in the blogosphere. Forrester's Charlene Li lists a blogger code of ethics which among other things states that deleting a post is not ok. And give us a plan for how you'll unscrew things.

There - that's one item that seems to have been missing from the Vista pitch. One of the people that has been attacked is Scott Beale. Scott has three posts - the first one, the response to the shit storm, and then his final solution to eBay the notebook - proceeds go to the EFF.

Doesn't really matter yet whether they've delivered anything yet or that there was a flap over Wal-Mart or even whether there is a real competitive advantage in the short 6-8 month period that they'll have an exclusive over the new localized stuff.
