As I wrote here last year, if history is any lesson, the more telepresence we get, the more mobility we're going to need. Finally, I think we all need to keep our eyes on lead users - the 12-25 year olds that are developing entirely new kinds of presence online.

But HourTown is the first of the Web 2.0 platforms that I've seen that are looking to transform the way local, face-to-face small business economies work by providing new tools for discovery, relationship building and synchronization of highly mobile consumers and service providers.
