Can one actually BitTorrent a 'magazine'? While one (including me) can debate* whether or not a PDF of a magazine is "the magazine," Dylan Stableford at FishBowl NY has discovered ( again ) a new service that is offering free downloads of PDFs of magazines.

They are now using what they've learned doing JPG magazine to create a new startup venture, 8020 Publishing. Best indicator of their potential success: they've had a couple of years of in-the-trenches experience to learn what works and doesn't work in this hybrid media they've helped to create.
