Has E3 been Comdex'ed?

But, the other flipside is that working at the last CES, it became apparent that the show has become too big - and, that is pretty much what killed Comdex. I think there is a need for the shows to become more focused, to go back to less of the public showcase and more a press showcase.

It's not the service, although James (as well as his staff) knows every book in that store, will tell you a story about each series/graphic novel, will bend over backwards to make certain you leave with what you came for and is incredibly entertaining to talk with.

They must also be able to interact, negotiate, and mediate with R&D, engineering, suppliers, competitors, partners, and other groups, to finalize "feasible" product plans that will meet the customer needs and include all the "relevant" innovations coming from those groups.

Can You Admit What You Do Not Know?

When I was a VP of Sales we would teach our sales reps to admit what they did not know on a sales call. It is a refreshing opinion supporting the concept that; it is more positive to admit to knowing less than to lose resources by insisting you know what you are doing (when you do not).
