And, I decided to keep quiet - and, well, at one point for a week, I stopped reading blogs. There's enough crap out there - PR needs think pieces with weight, not fluff - and to find smart ways to work with the community, not force itself on the community or celebrate fake celebrity.

As a brand manager, do not be afraid to come together with own groups for your own brands to be stronger, and do not forget that you are a customer yourself. Harness the brands as business, and when Duran Duran came into SL, the fans came into SL without much knowledge of SL.
