Serious Case of Malpractice
Posted Wednesday July 12, 2006, 10:06 am, Over one day old at Richard Edelman - 6 A.M.
An account person from GCI (one of Edelman's competitors) has unleashed a gratuitous attack on Jeff Jarvis, the widely-read blogger, in a comment on Jarvis' blog. Jeff Hunt is the CEO of GCI. Update: Jeff has updated his post with a note from Paul Walker at GCI.

Get Back Onto the Field
Posted Monday July 10, 2006, 10:06 am, Over one day old at Richard Edelman - 6 A.M.
I can give you one very funny line from a restaurant wall in Monterrey, California, from the golfer Chi Chi Rodriguez, "I never exaggerate, I just remember big." I had another opportunity to debate this issue with him on CNBC while at the Fortune Brainstorm 2006 in Aspen.

No more 2.0

Bloggers aren't journalists
Posted Monday July 10, 2006, 9:06 am, Over one day old at Marketing Roadmaps

Yes, it's not a cheery thought, but think about it. At the end of the day, If I want my pretty vloggers, I have Rachel at 88Slide and AmberMac - and I think they both are much more talented than Rocketboom (I was alive in the 80's, so I already saw those skits, thank you).

Sir Martin, Tear Down That Wall
Posted Thursday June 22, 2006, 10:06 am, Over one day old at Richard Edelman - 6 A.M.
The media should allow consumers to take content and repurpose it...don't get caught in the new orthodoxy which is top down messaging blown out at the grass roots...there are now a million separate power curves, with real specialization by product and interest."
