They correctly noted that many people working with designers were more interested in committing time and money toward defining solutions than reframing problems. They?re not just getting a solution from you?they?re getting a better way to look at and understand their problem.

First, I asked the development teams to pull any data they had about registration performance to date: what were the completion rates, where did people drop off, when did they call customer support, what information did they fill in, etc.
